So we’ve been amazed at how many people are getting swung on to the idea of not wanting to dream in color anymore.  We can dig it.  That’s all we ever wanted you to do — that and wear our shirts.  Oh, speaking of which …

… say word we’ve got people doing it AND putting it on Twitterville?  We definitely want to give an honorary ‘Terrorist Fist Jab’ to Rayboymusic for this, man.  Like we’ve said before, there aren’t enough TFJ in the back to give for how much we appreciate our followers and supporters.  It means a lot.  :3) Seriously, we’re, like, seconds away from getting our Susan Lucci on.  lol It’s been a long time coming, and we’re finally getting some feedback.

We’d also like to thank Maddi — she goes hard in the paint for us –  PrettyKenni, TheRealRiquee from the city we love, New Haven, CT — we better see you at the fashion show, woman — missylbee and her pup, Gucci, for the retweets and compliments! (By the way, Gucci the dog is looking for a lady friend.  If you know any single yorkies, holla at him.   Puppies need love, too, you know.)  It’s not Friday, but who cares.   We rarely ever follow the “rules” anyway.  Show them some love, too,  and click “follow” on their profiles!

Just a reminder, we’ve got another casting call today at 7pm in Milford, CT right where Stone Marquez, our good friends from New Haven, CT,  is having their fashion show on August 15th.   (If you know how to get to BoConcept furniture store, throw on shoes and work it!)  So far, we’ve had an awesome turn out with only less than a week of promotion, so we’re looking to continue on the same high.  Don’t forget to show the good ol’ boys some love on Twitterville.  They’re new on the block, so hit ‘em up!  It looks so lonely over there.

Last night, we hung out with them at the Ivy Lounge in New Haven, and it felt like we took a step into a time machine.  It’s truly a breath of fresh air when you get a DJ who spins songs from the 70′s right on up to the New Jack Swing era!  Rare cuts, drinks on the house, and cool peeps = good times.  That’s the formula.  If you’re ever around our way, come hang out with us every Friday night at the Ivy Lounge.

KENNIES CLOTHING COMPANY SAYS, “HELLO!”

New Web site coming soon, new models with a fresh new look,  and a new attitude!

We are refocusing and coming back with a brand new steez, people!   Be on the look out for the relaunch after the intermission!  In the mean time, our Web site is still available for you to order our shirts down at the shop.  Get ‘em while they’re hot, and tell a friend!  We appreciate all the support we can get.

Follow us on Twitter, become a fan of Kennies Clothing Co.  on Facebook, and subscribe to our blog to get the latest on what’s happening with us!  We want to hear from you, too, so don’t be a stranger!  We’ll find you.  (Shout outs to The One up in Canada,  Maddi, Kasey from the left coast, MZREESE, MicroCuts7, and one of our veteran models, Brandon, for showing us crazy love with the RT’s, e-food, Twitology, and “ink” on Twitterville! Last couple months, we’ve been looking for models for our shoots. and more recently helping to put together a fashion show with Stone Marquez, another New Haven-based group who provide events for people to party, but for a good cause.  How cool is that?   For this coming show, all proceeds will go to the Lupus Foundation.    (Donations are welcomed!)  If you’re interested in being a participant in the fashion show on August 15th ,  you can do it either one of two ways:

I.) via email to the hanger.kccloset@gmail.com or stone.marquez@gmail.com.   We follow a strict guideline,  so please make sure your submission adheres to it.  All others will be overlooked.  Sorry, kids.  We mean business.

All  submissions must include:

• your name and “Hanger” in the subject line of the email (e.g. “Hanger: Kennies”)
• 2-3 pictures (profile and full length) or a link to your portfolio/resume
  
• your name, location, age, measurements (height, weight, chest, waist, hip, inseam, shoe size), and number, so we can contact you in the body of the email
  

II. ) Just show up.  We like company!

A casting call will be held at the Ivy Lounge (956 Chapel Street — Rear Temple Plaza Court Yard — New Haven, CT 06510) on Tuesday, June 16, 3:30 pm .

• Model Requirements:
  

• You must be between the ages of 18-28
• Both male and female models must be 5’9 or taller
• Ladies must wear black heels and nude underwear
• Men must wear black briefs or boxers
• Portfolio/Resume for review
